The pulses produced by the PENS device travel from the nerve endings in the ear through the nerve tracks into the central lobe of the brain. One of our providers will prick the skin of your forearm, upper arm, or back with a small amount of each allergen. They will then closely monitor the skin for signs of a reaction during a period of 20 minutes.
Depending on your allergy test results, your provider will discuss with you a customized treatment plan to begin the Allergy Immunotherapy process. This process consists of two different phases:
- The first phase involves building up your immune system with a weakened concentration of the allergen.
